I'm pretty sure everyone has heard of Rod Blagojevich by now, he was arrested in December on federal corruption charges. Federal authorities say that he was trying to sell the Senate seat that became vacant after Barack Obama was elected president. After the his arrest, the state House voted unanimously to impeach him 59-0. As if that wasn't enough moments after removing him from office, the Illinois Senate also voted unanimously to prevent Blagojevich from ever holding political office in the state again. That's pretty harsh one day you are living a smooth life the next day BAM your impeached. I kinda feel sorry for him he even tried to plea for his innocence.
